ABOUT STAFF PROJECTS LABS RESEARCH

Staff

The staff of the Fiske Center brings a wealth of experience in historical archaeology, environmental archaeology, remote sensing and archaeological conservation. They are multi-talented and all have directed projects as well as served as collaborators on other projects. Their theoretical breadth is one of the great strengths of the Center. As a group their geographical focus includes North America, the Caribbean, Britain, Denmark, West Africa, the Arctic, Iceland, and the Mediterranean. Although their research experience and interests extend beyond the Atlantic World during the past millennium, the colonization, urbanization and industrialization that have shaped that world remain the primary focus of the Center and its staff.
